Parish Fellowship
Fellowship Sundays (First Sunday of the Month)
Beginning October 2010, a Pancake Breakfast will be served following the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Masses. A Potluck Lunch will be hosted after the 12:15 p.m. Mass.
Sunday Morning Coffee and Doughnuts
All are invited to join us after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday Masses from September - May for coffee and doughnuts in the courtyard (weather permitting) or in the Parish Activity Center.
The Guild of Saint Benedict
Members of the Guild of Saint Benedict provide hospitality and welcome to new members of the parish and provide a helping hand for large parish fellowship activities and events such as the annual Christmas party and receptions on major feast days.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
Each Shrove Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday) the parish hosts a Pancake Supper and Pancake Race for all members of our community.
Men's Breakfast Club
Men of the parish meet once a month for breakfast at Denny's on Wade Hampton Blvd. after the 7 AM Mass on the first Thursday. This social opportunity allows men the opportunity to exchange their experiences of the Faith and encourage one another on the way of Christian discipleship. All men are invited to participate.
Ladies Lunch Bunch
Ladies of the parish meet once a month for lunch at an area restaurant. This is an opportunity for women to share their experiences of the Faith and encourage one another on the path of Christian discipleship. All ladies are invited to participate. For more information, please contact the parish office.
Columbiettes
The Columbiettes are a non profit organization consisting of a unified body of Catholic women joining together for fellowship and to provide service to the parish and community. We serve through various fundraisers and ministries.
Through our ministries, members have the option to serve coffee and donuts after Mass, provide food and service for various parish receptions, collect supplies for battered women shelters, collect stuffed animals for disadvantaged and/or abused children, and more.
Don't miss the chance to socialize, have fun, and get to know other female Prince of Peace parishioners and serve the Lord. If you would like more information about this young and growing group or would like to join, please contact Michelle Zimmerman, President, at 286-9978.
