According the the Catechism of the Catholic Church, "Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate, presbyterate, and diaconate." (CCC #1536)

Marriage
Holy Matrimony is a covenant by which a man and a woman enter into a life long partnership for the mutual good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children. Our Lord acknowledged the sacredness and permanence of this bond when he said, " So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate." (Mark 10: 8-9) The Catholic Church maintains this teaching today.
Please contact Stephanie Stewart at least nine to twelve months in advance for information on preparatory classes and requirements for the sacrament of marriage.
